There is no protection for the buyer to start off, on Poshmark if you make an accidental purchase you can cancel within a short amount of time and have no issues and immediate refund.

For Mercari, even if you wish to cancel 1 min after buying, you will have to request the seller and they most likely will ship it anyways and ignore the cancellation request because there is no repercussion.

My husband made and account and our address is the same obviously we both already had the identity check done and they limited both of our accounts.
